Be at the Forefront of Energy Technologies and Innovations
The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) serves as a central hub convening energy professionals from around the world to share ideas and innovations, discuss, debate, and build consensus around the most pressing topics facing the offshore energy sector.
Whether it’s oil and gas, solar, wind, hydrogen, or other marine resources, these conversations will be centered around the innovations that could help shift and drive the world’s energy mix.
Attendees represent a diverse mix of decision-makers, engineers, and innovators across the energy sector.
The exhibition’s outstanding international reputation and significance allows your company to develop solid and profound market and business partnerships across the world, featuring 1300 exhibitors and more than 30 000 attendees worldwide. The Norwegian Pavilion is very well known at OTC and is now located centrally in Hall B.

About WindEurope
WindEurope is excited to partner once again with the city of Copenhagen and Danish industry leaders to host the Annual Event 2025. As the birthplace of wind energy, Denmark continues to set new records, sourcing over 55% of its electricity from wind – the highest in Europe. Following a record-breaking 2023 event with nearly 16,000 participants, the 2025 gathering in Copenhagen is expected to attract an even larger audience, making it the perfect venue for showcasing the latest advancements in offshore wind.
2025 promises to be a defining year for European politics. A new European Commission takes office in November 2024. Wind energy will come under huge scrutiny as Governments weigh up the costs of the energy transition.
It’s time to prove our worth. Wind isn’t just about fighting climate change. It’s about jobs, innovation, sovereignty and much more. Wind is 350,000 jobs in Europe. And with 250 GW installed across the continent, it powers our factories, heats our homes, and sustains the livelihoods of millions of Europeans – with clean and homegrown power solutions.
Join us on 1 April from 10:30 to 12:00 at Lysaker, for a discussion on how geopolitical shifts are reshaping the global energy landscape, and what this means for Norway. Hosted by our member Wilhelmsen, this event will bring together industry experts to share insights on energy security, market dynamics, and strategic responses to evolving challenges.
Geopolitical Perspectives and Framework Conditions
The global energy sector is undergoing a profound transition, where geopolitical tensions are increasingly shaping energy markets, investment flows, and technological priorities. Conflicts such as the war in Ukraine, instability in the Middle East, and the strategic rivalry among major powers over energy and technology dominance have placed energy security at the top of the agenda for both nations and companies.
At the same time, divergent strategic approaches are becoming more apparent: while the US signals a potential shift towards fossil energy and protectionist policies, the EU remains committed to the green transition, and China continues to expand its long-term investments in renewable energy and critical raw materials.
For Norway — an energy nation with deep ties to both fossil and renewable industries — this evolving landscape presents both challenges and opportunities. As geopolitical shifts reshape the global energy sector, how will they impact the Norwegian energy industry?
