Unlocking industry growth by leveraging synergies and collaboration across Scandinavia

Join us on for an enlightening breakfast seminar hosted by Energy Valley in partnership with Capgemini Invent and key study participants. Come for breakfast and valuable insights as we unveil the results of our recent study on the offshore wind industry in Scandinavia. We will get market updates from leading experts, and round off the event with a dynamic panel debate where study participants will discuss the report findings.

About the study

In 2023, energy-related CO2 emissions reached an unprecedented level of 37.4 billion tons. Without the increased deployment of renewable energy sources, this rise would have been even greater. To meet the projected doubled electricity demand by 2050 without amplifying climate change, energy production must continue to be decoupled from CO2 emissions. Accelerated renewable energy production, such as offshore wind, is essential for this to become a reality.

The offshore wind industry in Scandinavia is particularly well-positioned for substantial growth through export, driven by a commitment to renewable energy production and current industry presence as both project developers and supplier. This study, as a joint effort by Capgemini Invent, Energy Valley and Energy Cluster Denmark, underscores the current competitive advantages of each Scandinavian country and how their complementary industries could be integrated to enhance their global standing. Sharing ambitious renewable energy targets and commitments, leveraging strong capabilities across the offshore wind value chain, knowledge sharing, cooperation, and joint efforts could facilitate export to the global market, and ultimately facilitate the required green energy production.

Energy Valley’s Annual Christmas Breakfast

13 – 13 Dec08:00 – 11:00
Grand Hall, Fornebu

As the holiday season approaches, we warmly invite you to join us at Energy Valley’s cherished Christmas Breakfast, held this year on December 13th at Grand Hall, Fornebu.

We welcome you to a festive morning of good company, lively discussions, and plenty of holiday cheer as we wrap up the year together.

This year´s theme: “I’m dreaming…”

Bing Crosby once caroled about “dreaming of a white Christmas,” but these days, our holiday season is looking a little… greener. And while green is a color close to our hearts, this isn’t quite the “green” development we had in mind. So, how is the “Energy Nation Norway” really progressing? Are we on track to meet our ambitious goals – or are the challenges piling up faster than gifts under the tree?

What dreams do you hold for Norway’s energy future?

13 – 13 Nov09:00 – 17:00
Oslo Kongressenter, Youngs gate 21

Pris: 3000 kroner eks.mva. for ordinære deltakere, gratis for deltakere i OG21s teknologigrupper.

Likevel utfordres norsk petroleumsproduksjon.

Technology Champion 2024, lenke.
