Welcome to Strategic Week Norway!

Energy Valley, in collaboration with the BalticSeaH2 consortium, invites you to three content-rich days featuring a vision workshop, a hydrogen conference, and industrial site visits – all with hydrogen in focus. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of hydrogen in Norway and the Baltic Sea region, and to meet stakeholders from both Norway and Finland.

You can participate in one or several activities – depending on what suits your schedule.

Tuesday, June 3 | Oslo

Vision Workshop: The Future Hydrogen Society

Time: 09:30–15:00 (Lunch at 12:00 included)
Location: Energy Valley, John Strandrudsvei 14, 1360 Fornebu.
Cost: Free of charge
Language: English and Norwegian

What to expect:
An interactive workshop where we will co-develop scenarios for how hydrogen can play a key role in the green transition in Norway considering technical, economic, environmental, and social perspectives. Using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method, we will identify concrete pathways and explore opportunities, barriers, and strategic choices for the development of the hydrogen economy in Norway. Participants from industry, research, government, civil society, and investment environments are invited.

Hydrogen Conference at Industry Week

Time: 13:00–15:30
Location: Porsgrunn
Cost: NOK 1400.-
Language: English and Norwegian

About the event:
The BalticSeaH2 delegation will participate in the hydrogen session at Industry Week. The program includes presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

Gala/Networking Dinner at Eidanger Hall

Time: 19:00
Cost: NOK 2000.- (including drinks)

Thursday, June 5 | Herøya

Industrial Site Visits – Herøya Industrial Park

Time: 09:00–14:00 (Approx.time – tbc)
Cost: Free of charge
Note: Limited number of spots available

Site visits include:

  • NEL Hydrogen
  • HydrogenPro
  • Yara Clean Ammonia

Practical Information:

Group transport: We will go by train from Lysaker to Porsgrunn on June 4 at 08:49 (RE11) (please indicate in the registration form if you wish to join).

Accommodation: We can assist with hotel bookings at Adminiet or equivalent. Accommodation cost: NOK 1300.-
