Energy Valley’s Annual Christmas Breakfast

13 – 13 Dec08:00 – 11:00
Grand Hall, Fornebu

As the holiday season approaches, we warmly invite you to join us at Energy Valley’s cherished Christmas Breakfast, held this year on December 13th at Grand Hall, Fornebu.

We welcome you to a festive morning of good company, lively discussions, and plenty of holiday cheer as we wrap up the year together.

This year´s theme: “I’m dreaming…”

Bing Crosby once caroled about “dreaming of a white Christmas,” but these days, our holiday season is looking a little… greener. And while green is a color close to our hearts, this isn’t quite the “green” development we had in mind. So, how is the “Energy Nation Norway” really progressing? Are we on track to meet our ambitious goals – or are the challenges piling up faster than gifts under the tree?

What dreams do you hold for Norway’s energy future?

U.S. policy shifts and the IRA: The Grinch who stole Christmas?

Fireside chat moderated by Astrid Onsum

With Donald J. Trump back in the White House, big questions loom about the future of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and its impact on the global energy industry. Will new policy shifts drive more obstacles – or perhaps opportunities – for Norway’s path toward a greener economy? We will break down the potential implications of U.S. policy for Norwegian businesses. Our fireside chat will bring together experts to discuss what’s at stake for Norway’s energy industry as it navigates new realities in the global energy landscape, also including a debate on the Norwegian Exit tax and more.

You will meet

  • Alexander Fuglesang, Founder and CEO of impactful ocean technology companies
  • Jarand Rystad, CEO Rystad Energy
