Energy Insights Powered by ABB
Energy Valley and ABB are excited to invite you to an exclusive breakfast seminar focused on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), taking place on 14 November.
As a global leader in CO2 injection and storage, Norway is at the forefront of innovative solutions to combat climate change. This seminar will discuss Norway’s significant market potential in the CCS sector. We have invited key players such as the Ministry of Energy, Equinor, and Sval Energi to share their CCS plans and ambitions, followed up by a panel debate.
In addition, ABB will discuss one of the biggest challenges for designers and operators of CCS infrastructure projects – understanding the impact of impurities on CO2 streams. Together with our partner PACE CCS, ABB has developed a digital twin, a tool for reducing risk and enhancing operability of a CCS network. During this short session, we will give a flavor of this solution and hopefully motivate for further exploration.
You will meet:
- Ministry of Energy – Alexander Engh, Deputy Director General
- Equinor – Johanna Fiksdahl, Lead Policy & Regulatory Affairs Advisor
- Sval Energi – Caroline Svae, Business Development Manager Low Carbon
- ABB – Ian Holden, Technology Manager Energy Industries
- Moderators:
- Hanna Kjøniksen, Head of Sales Energy and Flexibility, ABB
- Benedicte Tangen, Head of Digital Sales, ABB
