Welcome to Strategic Week Norway!

Energy Valley, in collaboration with the BalticSeaH2 consortium, invites you to three content-rich days featuring a vision workshop, a hydrogen conference, and industrial site visits – all with hydrogen in focus. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of hydrogen in Norway and the Baltic Sea region, and to meet stakeholders from both Norway and Finland.

You can participate in one or several activities – depending on what suits your schedule.

Vision Workshop: The Future Hydrogen Society

What to expect:
An interactive workshop where we will co-develop scenarios for how hydrogen can play a key role in the green transition in Norway considering technical, economic, environmental, and social perspectives. Using the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method, we will identify concrete pathways and explore opportunities, barriers, and strategic choices for the development of the hydrogen economy in Norway. Participants from industry, research, government, civil society, and investment environments are invited.

TechThursday #4 – Energy Carriers: The Bridge Between Supply and Demand

Hydrogen, ammonia, e-fuels and batteries are emerging as key enablers in future energy systems – serving as links between generation and end-use, and offering significant export potential.

In TechThursday #4, we aim to explore the technology landscape, market outlook, and development challenges of energy carriers. We are planning contributions from actors such as H2Carrier, SOREN Hydrogen, CELLTECH, ABB, Honeywell and others – to provide insight into how Norwegian companies can lead the way in technology development and system integration.

The event will conclude with a panel discussion on how to align production, infrastructure, financing and regulation – to realize competitive value chains for energy carriers across Norway and Europe.
