It’s a great pleasure to welcome you to our new web pages and to the first Subsea Valley blog post ever.

Through our blog we will bring you insights and opinions, and give you the opportunity to meet the people and technologies of Subsea Valley. Other supporters and interesting personalities from our large network will also contribute to the blog. If you have an idea, opinion, a piece of research or an industrial story that you want to share with our audience, please let us know.

Many of you were involved in the development of our new cluster strategy ‘Engineering the Future’.

Remaining world leading in subsea engineering, taking a global position in energy technology and finding new markets, applications and industries for our high-tech solutions, is the core of the roadmap towards 2025.

Now it is time to implement the strategy, aiming to move our cluster forward, adapting to a new reality and relieving new business opportunities. Based on our already world leading engineering and technology competence, this region has great potential to become a global hub for energy technology – attracting talents, corporates, investments, growth companies and start-ups from all over the world. No one has better prerequisites to succeed than us.

Companies that collaborate are more innovative, more productive and more competitive. The Subsea Valley cluster offers a strategic collaboration platform for our member companies. The latest major company to join our cluster is Statoil, also represented in the Subsea Valley Board of Directors. The newly established Advisory Board for Subsea Valley is a source of great knowledge and competence, as well as a link to our international partnerships. We are inspired by our partners in Houston, a world-leading region within energy, aerospace and medical. It has become a global hub for technology development, competence, research, innovation and industry, and technology transfer across industries. We already see benefits for the members of Subsea Valley from our strong relations to the environments in Houston, and invite you all to join the OTC-delegation in May 2018.
