Ørsted, Aker BP, and Statkraft confirmed for Energy:Connected

Rasmus Errboe SVP, Head of Region, Continental Europe, Offshore at Ørsted, Karl-Johnny Hersvik CEO of Aker BP, and Christian Rynning-Tønnesen, CEO of Statkraftwill all be entering the stage on the opening day of Energy:Connected.
– Norway has unique potential for developing offshore wind, not least floating offshore wind. The next chapter of Norway’s energy history is being written now, and we certainly want to be a part of it, says Rasmus Errboe, SVP, Head of Region, Continental Europe, Offshore at Ørsted.
Errboe will be speaking about Norway’s transition from a European fossil fuel giant to a clean energy hub at the opening of the conference.
– The recently announced Blåvinge and Rosenberg Worley agreement is a testament to the degree of quality and know-how that already exist among suppliers in the Norwegian market. Offshore wind can truly become a new industrial pillar for Norway once the authorities follow up on their political ambition by announcing new floating and bottom-fixed offshore wind areas.
