DNV GL and Energy Valley are pleased to invite to an Additive Manufacturing Industry Day where we will present guidelines, approval programs, and results from projects related to AM. In addition speakers from the industry and research will present the latest trends, and there will be a workshop to discuss the challenges related to AM and how to solve these challenges.
Additive Manufacturing ( AM ) will change the way we design, produce, test, store, supply, and use products compared to conventional manufacturing. AM has been adapted in aerospace, automotive, and medical industries. In the oil & gas and maritime industries the use of AM is limited, however, attractive business cases where AM will be the enabler have been identified. For a smooth introduction of AM also in these industries there is a need for standardization, quality assurance and qualification programs.
Why attend this event? The objective of the workshop is to present the state of the art in the field of AM and identify future challenges to be solved. By attending you will have the opportunity to discuss and exchange experience with leading industry professionals, and to discuss relevant challenges and opportunities.
Who should attend? Product managers, designers, engineers and business developers who are interested in exploring the links between design and manufacturing of components using the additive manufacturing process and business.
