Energy:Connected: – An important meeting place for Norwegian offshore wind players

Aker Offshore Wind confirmed as partner for Energy:Connected’21. 

– We expect Energy:Connected to be an important meeting place for Norwegian offshore wind players with the opportunity to meet key decision-makers and important stakeholders. As well as get professional input and inspiration for the work of realizing offshore wind on a large scale in Norway, says Sebastian Bringsværd, Senior Vice President Business Development at Aker Offshore wind.

Aker Offshore Wind will be a visible partner at the conference by participating this December in panel discussions, masterclasses, and having their own exhibitor stand. Bringsværd is one of the participants in the panel discussion “Offshore wind roadmap to 2030” on December 8th.

– Aker Offshore Wind believes that the development of a Norwegian supply chain within offshore wind will be crucial for us as a nation to succeed with offshore wind. Here we will share our perspectives on how Norway can develop a competitive and sustainable offshore wind industry, says Bringsværd and adds:

– We also want to have a good and constructive conversation about how we can move forward in a fast and responsible way, as well as talk about the importance of choosing the right competition model, sustainability, and coexistence.

Aker Offshore Wind recently became a member of our cluster and is also an active member of the Energy Valley Offshore Wind Resource group.

– Energy Valley is one of Norway’s largest industry clusters and we want to actively support the cluster’s work on offshore wind. This is a great arena for professional discussion and to meet other developers and suppliers with ambitions in offshore wind.
