– I expect to get a good insight on the new era for offshore wind investment, and how the offshore wind industry will deliver the volume necessary towards our net zero ambitions. The United Kingdom har currently the world’s largest operational capacity (10,424 GWh in Q2 2021) so there are many lessons we can learn from them, says Miravalles.

The biggest industry players within offshore wind will be attending, such as Ørsted, Vestas, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and Iberdrola. At the same time, Miravalles is enthusiastic with the contribution of some Norwegian players like Equinor, Aker Solutions and Aker Offshore Wind. View the full programme here.

– Norwegian companies want to be at the forefront of the offshore wind industry development, so we cannot focus just on the internal market. GOW21 is the right place to get in touch with the key players of the present and future offshore wind industry worldwide.

Energy Valley have recently been named the strongest offshore wind cluster in Norway. We are continuously increasing our activities related to offshore wind such as the creation of an offshore wind resource group, establishing collaboration with foreign clusters, and workshops covering the entire value chain.

Besides attending the official program, we would like to invite the Norwegian companies present in London for an informal gathering on the 29th in the evening.
