Covid-19 virus update and OTC 2020 postponed

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, Energy Valley have taken several measures regarding our events and routines to prevent the spreading of the virus. 

The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston recognizes the unprecedented global challenge associated with the current Covid-19 pandemic and have postponed the conference from 4-7 May to the third quarter of 2020. By postponing the conference rather than cancelling it, OTC aim to preserve the significant work in preparing for the conference as well as minimize the economic impact the decision has on the industry as a whole.

As a natural consequence, the Norwegian delegation and Energy Valley have also cancelled all travels and events in Houston prior and during the conference. However, all travel grants will be maintained if used within 2021. We will update our webpage continuously with further practical information from Norway2OTC.

All of Energy Valleys events have been postponed until further notice. We continue to monitor the situation closely and will at all times relate to the Institute of Public Health (FHI) as well as provide continuous updates as necessary.
