Connecting Bold Ambitions with Sustainable Solutions

By Linea Bancel|Published 27 September 2021|Category: News

It´s official: Norway is finally opening again. We are looking forward to inviting you all to our conference Energy: Connected again from the 8th to 9th December this year.

It has been extremely demanding times since we met at the conference in April 2019. In this period, we have had time to rethink the conference. We have taken the decision to move out of Telenor Arena. This year´s conference will be held at Scandic Fornebu. We have also decided that the conference will be biannual and alternate with ONS in Stavanger in understanding and cooperation with them.

We do this with the aim to host a conference with high-quality content.

Energy: Connected 21 will be focused on our need for interaction, building competence, and sharing expertise and knowledge.

There is nothing that can create the same atmosphere and creativity as meeting each other in person and talking to each other face to face. And not to forget having a cup of great coffee together in our famous and traditional coffee bar.

It´s time to set bold ambitions

The race for net-zero and the transition from an oil nation to a leading energy nation is a historic opportunity for the energy industry. We stand at the doorstep of the decade of action. The foundation for new jobs and industrial growth rises from Norwegian energy resources, science, and knowledge.

It is a time for pioneers within the industry, in academia, finance, and politics to set bold ambitions.

And it is a time for our best problem solvers to create sustainable solutions.

Therefore, the theme for Energy Connected is:

“The race for net-zero: Connecting bold ambitions with sustainable solutions”

On December 8th, we will address the bold ambitions we need to make Norway the leading energy nation in the world. On December 9th, we will dig deeper into the technology solutions needed to fulfill the ambitions.

David G. Victor will be attending this year’s conference! David G. Victors’ research focuses on regulated industries and how regulation affects the operation of major energy markets. Much of his research is at the intersection of climate change science and policy.

To create global winners, we need your energy.

The program for Energy: Connected will have national and international keynote speakers, roundtables, master classes, hackathons, technical sessions, and lots of opportunities for social mingling and entertainment. The program is under development, and we will launch names and more detailed program content in the weeks to come on our website. You can sign up for the conference newsletter here.

If you want to be a partner for the conference or book a stand, contact anna.ogland@energyvalley.com. We have a very limited number of stands available so don`t miss out on the Energy Event of the year. All physical!
