HPE invites Energy Valley's OTC delegation to their new Global Customer Innovation where they will be delivering a very interactive experience for all OTC delegates.

HPE invites Norway2OTC to their new Global Customer Innovation Center on the 4th of May. HPE will give an outlook and inspiration on the journey that IT and Energy are on together, to transform how the world will consume, secure, and sustain energy in the future. – We will give them an experience that will blow their socks off, says Paul Morgan, Cloud lead, Energy Vertical at HPE.

– HPE will be delivering a very interactive experience for all OTC delegates, with the opportunity to network and engage with our Industry leading customers & partners outside of the formal sessions, says Managing Director of HPE in Norway, Thomas Kraft.

The Norway2OTC delegation, consisting of members from Norwegian Energy Partners (NORWEP), GCE NODEGCE Ocean Technology, Norwegian Energy Solutions, City of Stavanger, and Energy Valley, will be travelling to OTC in Houston in May. You can still sign up here. 

Silicon Valley coming to Houston

Invention and innovation are heritage values for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). It started in 1939 when HP was founded by Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard in a garage in Palo Alto, California. In 2022 HPE has now moved Silicon Valley to the heart of Energy and Oil & Gas in North America.

Thomas Kraft, the Managing Director of HPE in Norway is very excited to be hosting the delegation at their new Global Customer Innovation Center.

– Norway2OTC delegates will learn about what HPE is doing together with leading industry partners to help transform IT and Energy Technology says Kraft and adds:

– It’s essential we share and collaborate with Energy Valley to help solve future challenges facing the Energy, Power, Utility, and Oil & Gas sectors.

Get hands-on experience 

During the keynote & breakout sessions, HPE will share the work they are doing with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and the Autonomy Institute to develop real-time data and AI-driven Smart Cities and Smart Grids to better utilize and optimize Energy Generation and how it is used in a more sustainable way throughout the United States of America.

Cyber security will also be a key focus throughout the event. HPE is planning a hands-on experience of Cyber resilience with a tour of the Cyber Fusion Center on the HPE campus. In addition, one of Houston’s leading petrochemical companies will showcase how they are enabling their customers to have a real, positive, impact in achieving their sustainability goals.
