A door opener into the British market

Energy Valley and The Norwegian British Chamber of Commerce (NBCC) are teaming up. The collaboration will give members of Energy Valley access to the UK market and business opportunities across borders.

“Energy Valley and NBCC exist for our members. We are here to help and assist and be involved where we can, with value creation for our members. We do this best by collaborating with like-minded people and we can help by assisting where we have a common point of intersection.” Says General Manager of NBCC Kyrre Haugen. 

NBCC is a non-profit organization with a membership consisting of more than 200 Norwegian and British companies, industry organizations, and clusters. Their mission is to promote trade and investment between Norway and the UK and to provide a professional and social arena for businesspeople.

Creating business opportunities across borders 

“We are door openers. We will collaborate on creating arenas where we can learn from each other, and create business across national borders.” Says Head of Ecosystem Annie Korsmo. 

The start of the collaboration was in autumn. Energy Valley and member H2Carrier participated in the Energetic Future event, organized by NBCC. There, the organizations got to know each other and saw how the synergies can work in practice. 

NBCC provides business and networking opportunities and encourages dialogue and exchange of experience between members.

Together, Energy Valley and NBCC will plan delegation trips, member meetings, and activities that promote business growth, knowledge sharing, and networking.
